Description

The Junior PGA Championship is one of the premier junior golf tournaments in the United States, open to both boys and girls under age 18. It is contested in a 72-hole stroke-play format (four rounds). The field is typically comprised of 312 players (156 boys and 156 girls). A cut is made after 36 holes to the top 60 players plus ties. Qualification is through PGA Section championships (qualifiers) or via special exemptions granted by the PGA of America. All participants must meet eligibility requirements set forth by the organization.
