The event is played over three days, featuring 54 holes of stroke play with one 18-hole round each day, starting with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. Hawaiian Time. The Royal Ka'anapali Course is a par-71 layout measuring 6,700 yards, known for its coastal winds and challenging greens. The field typically includes 19 teams representing 15 states and 12 athletic conferences, including top programs such as Oklahoma, Hawai'i, Boise State, Colorado, Georgia, Indiana, and San Jose State. Teams generally bring five golfers, with the best four scores counting each round toward the team total.
