Description
The Whirlwind Invitational is an NCAA Division I men's golf tournament hosted by the University of Southern California (USC) at Whirlwind Golf Club at Wild Horse Pass in Chandler, Arizona. The 2025 event takes place September 8–9 and features three rounds (54 holes): teams play 36 holes on the first day and 18 on the second. The field includes 12 invited DI programs, each fielding five players and counting the four lowest scores per round for the team total. The format is stroke play, and qualification is by invitation, primarily for competitive DI programs wishing to start their fall season with a strong regional tournament.
