The U.S. Mid-Amateur Championship, organized by the United States Golf Association (USGA), is a premier national tournament for amateur golfers aged 25 and older with a Handicap Index of 2.4 or lower. The 2025 championship will be held at Troon Country Club and Troon North Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona, from September 13 to 18. The event begins with 36 holes of stroke play over two days, with the low 64 players advancing to single-elimination match play. The match play rounds proceed over several days culminating in a 36-hole final match to determine the champion. The tournament typically features 264 competitors who qualify through sectional qualifying tournaments, and entry applications must be submitted by early July. The champion receives the Robert T.
