Description
The Sun Belt Men's Golf Championship is organized by the Sun Belt Conference. The championship format includes 54 holes of stroke play over three days, with teams teeing off from split tees (some starting on hole 1 and others on hole 10). After the stroke play rounds, the top four teams advance to a match play semifinal and final held on the following day to determine the overall team champion. Usually, 10 teams compete in the event, each typically fielding five players with the best four scores counting toward the team total. Teams qualify for the championship based on their regular-season performance within the conference.
