Island Resort Intercollegiate

The Island Resort Intercollegiate is a two-day, 54-hole stroke play collegiate golf tournament held at Sage Run Golf Club in Bark River, Michigan. The tournament features a shotgun start with 36 holes played on the first day and 18 holes on the second day. The field typically consists of 12 NCAA Division I teams, including programs such as South Dakota State (host), Ball State, Central Florida, Illinois State, Miami (OH), Michigan, Michigan State, Purdue, St. Mary's (CA), Nebraska, UTEP, and West Virginia. The scoring format is five players per team with the lowest four scores counting each round. The course has a par of 72 and measures 7,375 yards. The event has a strong reputation for attracting top collegiate programs, with recent champions including West Virginia and Purdue displaying remarkable scoring performances.
