Description

The Carolinas Amateur Championship is a premier men’s amateur event for golfers in North and South Carolina, conducted annually by the CGA. The competition is played in a 72-hole stroke-play format (four rounds) with a cut after 36 holes. The field is typically limited to around 96 competitors, and entry is achieved via either exemption or sectional qualifying; eligibility requires the player to be a legal resident of North or South Carolina, hold an active USGA Handicap Index®, and be a member of a club affiliated with the CGA.
