Description

The Golfweek October Classic is a prominent NCAA Division III men's and women's collegiate golf tournament held annually at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort in Sandestin, Florida. The event typically features 54 holes of stroke play over three days, with teams playing the Raven and Links courses. The men's competition is held on the Raven course, a par-71 layout measuring around 6,623 yards. The tournament usually fields about 24 teams, including many of the top-ranked Division III programs, with each team fielding five players and counting the best four scores toward the team total each round. Invitations are extended based on the latest Golf Coaches Poll rankings, making it a key early-season event that previews contenders for the National Championship.
