Description

The Patriot All-America Invitational is a premier 54-hole amateur golf tournament held annually at The Wigwam Golf Resort in Litchfield Park, Arizona, typically from December 27 to 31. It features 156 of the nation's top amateur golfers, including PING All-Americans from NCAA Divisions I, II, III, NAIA, NJCAA, and AJGA, as well as international players and special invitees. The tournament is known for its unique and powerful tribute to military heroes; each golfer carries a commemorative PING golf bag bearing the name, rank, and branch of a fallen or wounded service member or first responder, honoring their sacrifice throughout the event. The Patriot combines competitive collegiate golf with patriotic purpose, including an opening ceremony and an opportunity for players to visit Luke Air Force Base to meet with fighter pilots and crews. Funds raised through related activities support the Folds of Honor Foundation, which provides educational scholarships to families of fallen and wounded service members. The Patriot includes a satellite event called The Thunderbolt for additional eligible players, held nearby at Sterling Grove Golf & Country Club.
