Description

The 2025 NCAA Reno Regional is one of six regional qualifying tournaments for the NCAA Division I Men's Golf Championship. It took place May 12-14, 2025, at Montreux Golf & Country Club in Reno, Nevada, a par-72 course measuring approximately 7,550 yards. The tournament features 14 top collegiate teams and a handful of individual competitors not on those teams. It uses a 54-hole stroke play format over three days. The field size typically includes 14 teams plus individuals. Qualification for the regional is through automatic conference championships and at-large bids granted by the NCAA Division I Men’s Golf Committee. The top five teams and the lowest individual not on those teams advance to the national championship at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, California. The tournament tests golfers' abilities on a challenging and scenic course, with daily tee times and re-pairing according to scores to foster competition. Contact information for NCAA golf events is handled through the NCAA and host athletic departments.
