Description
The Ironwood Collegiate Classic is a two-day, 54-hole NCAA Division I men's golf tournament held at Ironwood Golf & Country Club in Greenville, North Carolina. The tournament usually begins with a shotgun start round on Sunday afternoon followed by 36 holes on Monday. The par-72 course measures about 7,100 yards. The field typically consists of around 15 teams, including schools such as East Carolina (host), Appalachian State, UCF, Georgia State, and Old Dominion, among others. Teams and individual golfers qualify by invitation, often based on season performance and coach selections.
