Description
The Harry Oppenheimer Trophy Championship is a prestigious amateur golf tournament held annually in South Africa at Maccauvlei Golf Club in the Vaal Triangle. The 2025 event is scheduled for June 9 to June 11 and is conducted over 72 holes of stroke play, typically played over three days with 18 holes each day except the final day which has 36 holes. The tournament attracts some of the best amateur golfers from South Africa and internationally, with the 2023 champion being Kieron van Wyk, who recorded excellent scores under challenging conditions.
