Description

Australian Women's Amateur Championship is organized by Golf Australia and played annually at prominent courses across Australia. The format is 72-hole stroke play (four rounds), with a cut after 36 holes (top 65 and ties) progressing to rounds three and four. Up to 132 women may compete, selected by world and national ranking, exemption, and timely online registration. All players must hold a valid federation handicap and meet published eligibility criteria. The champion receives invitations to AIG Women’s Open, US Women’s Open, Amundi Evian Championship, Chevron Championship, and Augusta National Women’s Amateur.
