The NCAA Division I Women's National Championship is the pinnacle event of collegiate women's golf in the United States, organized by the NCAA. The 2025 championship took place from May 16 to May 21 at the Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, California, hosted by the University of Texas. The championship features 30 teams and 6 individual qualifiers competing initially in 54 holes of stroke play to determine the top 15 teams and 9 individuals who advance to one additional day of stroke play. The top eight teams then advance to match play, which is used to decide the national team champion. Approximately 150 competitors participate overall. Teams and individuals qualify for this prestigious event by advancing through six regional qualifying tournaments based on national rankings and season performance.
