Description

The Florida Junior Tour – Tour Championship serves as the culminating event of the FJT season, held annually and contested over three rounds (54 holes) of individual gross stroke play. According to the most recent format, the first 36 holes are played on Saturday and the final round on Sunday. Entry is reserved for top-performing junior golfers in two key age divisions (Boys/Girls 13-15 and Boys/Girls 16-18), with the total field drawn from the FJT points lists, exempt winners, and a small number of committee selections. To qualify, players must hold an FJT membership (which includes a Florida GHIN handicap) and be eligible by age (under‐college students) and have competed during the season in FJT events. The event draws a sharpened field of approximately 72 players (actual size dependent on entries) and is one of the most important junior amateur competitions in Florida, offering strong visibility for collegiate recruiting and national ranking points.
