The Spin Junior Championship (Boys)

The Spin Junior Championship, officially known as The Spin Sports Education Foundation Junior Championship, is a 54-hole stroke play AJGA tournament held at The Ridge Golf Course in Auburn, California. The inaugural event in 2025 is scheduled for July 28-31 and features a field of 78 boys and girls ages 12 to 19. The course offers a challenging layout with a field including 53 California natives, 22 AJGA champions, 5 college commitments, and players from 4 countries. The tournament fee is $295, and players must bring a smart device with internet access for live scoring via the Golf Genius app. Entry exemptions include full exemption for the top 3 boys and girls, with tiered Performance Star requirements for other participants. Key dates include an application deadline of June 24 and payment deadline of June 29. Qualifiers occur at the host course with an application window from June 4 to June 27.
