The Peoples Golf Championship is a collegiate men's golf tournament held annually at Sea Palms Resort on St. Simons Island, Georgia. The 2025 edition took place March 13-15 and featured a 54-hole stroke play format on the par-71, 6,664-yard course. Hosted by Western Carolina University, the event attracted a strong field of 20 teams from 11 states, including Belmont, Charleston Southern, Davidson (A&B teams), Drexel, Florida A&M, Francis Marion, Long Island, Marshall, Mount St. Mary's, Murray State, Richmond, Siena, Tennessee Tech, UNCG, UT-Martin, Villanova, Winthrop, Wright State, and Xavier. The tournament was created in 2021 during the COVID-19 pandemic to provide extra playing opportunities for collegiate teams and has quickly grown into a prestigious early-season event. Title sponsor Peoples Golf, founded by Western Carolina alumnus Will Peoples, supports the tournament and provides high-quality golf equipment.
