Description

The Dye Junior Invitational is a premier junior golf tournament held annually to honor the legacy of Pete and Alice Dye, world-renowned golf course designers. The 2025 Dye Junior Invitational will take place June 2-4 at the Kampen-Cosler Course at Purdue University’s Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex in West Lafayette, Indiana. The event features both boys and girls divisions, each with 36 players, competing in a 54-hole individual stroke play format. The tournament attracts an elite field of junior golfers from around the world, with eligibility based on top rankings in Golfweek, AJGA Rolex, WAGR, and Junior Golf Scoreboard (typically top 300 in one of the ranking systems). Applications for the 2025 event open November 27, 2024, and close February 23, 2025, with field selections made in early March. Participants enjoy excellent facilities including practice areas and accommodation options near Purdue University. The event is well-supported with player gifts from sponsors like Titleist and FootJoy, daily prizes for low rounds, and a commemorative prize for every eagle made. Caddie services are available on request. This invitational is recognized for its strong competition, celebration of the Dye legacy, and high standards of organization. Past champions include many top junior players who have progressed to collegiate and professional success.
