he Amundi Evian Championship is one of the five major championships in women's professional golf and is organized by the LPGA Tour. The event is held annually at the Evian Resort Golf Club in Évian-les-Bains, France, nestled between Lake Geneva and the French Alps. In 2025, the championship takes place from July 10 to July 13. The tournament features a field of 132 of the best female golfers worldwide competing over four rounds (72 holes) of stroke play, with a cut after the second round for the top 65 players and ties. It offers a substantial purse of $8 million, with $1.2 million awarded to the winner. This championship is unique as the only major held in continental Europe and draws a globally elite field that competes on a scenic and challenging course known as The Champions Course at the resort.
