Description

The SEC Men's Golf Championship stroke play phase consists of 54 holes played over three days, with 18 holes scheduled each day. The tournament is held at prestigious courses, such as Sea Island Golf Club in St. Simons Island, Georgia — a par-70, 7,005-yard seaside course known for its challenging conditions including tight fairways and coastal winds. Sixteen teams typically participate, many ranked in the top 30 nationally. After the three rounds of stroke play, the top eight teams advance to a match play bracket held over the weekend to determine the overall team champion. The stroke play phase also crowns the individual champion based on cumulative scores. The event serves as the Southeastern Conference's premier men's golf championship and is broadcast on SEC Network and SECN+.
