Description

The Missouri Stroke Play Championship is a highly competitive 54-hole stroke play event held annually at Jefferson City Country Club. The 28th edition in 2025 took place July 21-23, featuring a field of 146 of Missouri’s top amateur male golfers, including collegiate players, mid-amateurs, and juniors. After 36 holes, a cut is made to the low 50 scores and ties, who then compete in a 36-hole final round on the last day. The course provides a fair but challenging test, with tee times starting early each day. The event is open to male amateur golfers who are MGA members with a valid handicap and who meet residency or collegiate play requirements in Missouri. Entry fees and membership fees apply.
