Kejohanan MSSM Tournament

The Kejohanan MSSM Tournament (Majlis Sukan Sekolah Malaysia) is Malaysia’s national schools sports championship, which includes a major junior golf competition for secondary school students across all 14 states. In 2025, the MSSM Golf Tournament is scheduled for May 25–29 and will be hosted in Pulau Pinang (Penang). The event typically features three rounds (54 holes) of stroke play, divided into age-based categories for boys and girls, with a field commonly exceeding 100 competitors from state school teams selected through their respective state-level Majlis Sukan Sekolah. Qualifying athletes are top school-aged golfers chosen from district and state-level qualifiers, with all participants registered and managed via their state education departments and the Ministry of Education’s sports division. The championship is a key pathway for young Malaysian golfers to national ranking and further representative teams.
