The Jones Cup Invitational is an elite annual amateur golf tournament held at Ocean Forest Golf Club in Sea Island, Georgia. Established in 2001, the tournament features a 54-hole stroke play format with no cut, attracting some of the finest amateur golfers from the U.S. and abroad. The Ocean Forest course is known for its challenging seaside links layout, designed by Rees Jones and recently renovated by Beau Welling, featuring fast, undulating greens and exposure to coastal winds. The winner earns the silver Jones Cup and the Layne Williams Medal, with past champions including notable amateurs who have gone on to professional success.
