Description

IGU Jharkhand Amateur Championship is organized by the Indian Golf Union (IGU) and held at a leading golf venue in Jharkhand, such as Golmuri Golf Course, Jamshedpur. The tournament is played in stroke play format over four rounds (72 holes), with one official practice round before competition. Entry is open to all amateur golfers with a maximum handicap of 2.4 (WHS certificate required), provided they complete registration as required. Typical fields range from 70–120 competitors, and there may be a cut after the first round or midway through the event depending on field size. The Jharkhand Amateur is part of the IGU Gentlemen’s Tour and counts toward Order of Merit rankings.
