Hanseatic International Youth Open

The Hanseatic International Youth Open (HIYO) is a prestigious international junior golf tournament run by the German Golf Association. Held annually at Gut Kaden Golf Club in Alveslohe, the three-day event welcomes young athletes from across Germany and Europe, with divisions for boys and girls. The format is 54-hole stroke play, typically played over three consecutive days. The tournament accommodates around 120 competitors, offering a high-caliber platform for youth golfers aged 12–23. Entry is via online registration and acceptance based on playing ability, handicap status, or by invitation, allowing promising talents to gain international experience and ranking points.
