Golf Performance Academy Junior Championship (Boys)

The Golf Performance Academy Junior Championship is a 54-hole stroke play AJGA tournament held at Innisbrook Resort & Golf Club - Island Course in Palm Harbor, Florida. The event typically features a field of 132 boys and girls ages 12 to 19, with a 36-hole cut reducing the field to the low 50% for final rounds. The course plays to a slope rating of 140 and course rating of 74.1 for boys and 131 slope and 75.1 rating for girls. Entry into the tournament follows AJGA Performance Star exemptions: the top 15 boys need 12 stars for full exemption, the top 25 require 8 stars, and 4 stars are needed to make the cut; girls have similar tiers with the top 5 fully exempt, top 10 requiring 12 stars, and other progressive thresholds. Players must confirm participation through the AJGA Player Center. An 18-hole qualifier is held prior to the main event to fill additional spots, also at Innisbrook. Practice rounds are scheduled with assigned tee times and monitored usage of practice facilities. Players are required to carry their own bags or use push carts, and must use the Golf Genius app for scoring.
