Description
The Georgia Junior Championship is the premier junior golf event in the state, conducted annually since 1966 by the Georgia State Golf Association (GSGA). This 54-hole stroke play championship is open to male amateur golfers who are GSGA members, residents of Georgia, and have not reached their 19th birthday before the tournament ends. The field generally features top junior golfers selected through regional qualifiers and exemptions, with approximately 144 players competing each year at rotating host clubs across Georgia.
