Faldo Junior Tour
About
The Faldo Junior Tour is an international junior golf competition series created in 1996 by Sir Nick Faldo, aimed at providing highly competitive opportunities for junior golfers aged 13 to 21. The events are generally played over 54 holes of stroke play, with a cut after 36 holes, across multiple national and regional venues, including locations throughout Great Britain, Ireland, Europe, and beyond. It features four categories—boys and girls aged 13-16 and 17-21—with handicap limits typically set at 8 for boys and 12 for girls. Competitors qualify mainly through open registration, with handicap limits applied before the competition start date. Top performers from each event earn the chance to qualify for the European Grand Final and potentially international events. The series aims to offer a pathway to elite amateur and professional golf careers, hosted at high-quality courses worldwide.
