Description

The D.C. Amateur Championship is one of the oldest amateur golf tournaments in the United States, held annually for players in the Washington, D.C. region. The event is contested as a 54-hole stroke play (three rounds) format, with registration opening early and often filling quickly. Eligibility requires the player to be an amateur in good standing, typically a resident of the district or affiliated club, to hold a valid Handicap Index®, and to register through the MSGA’s system. Qualified entrants vie for the regional title and a chance to join past champions of note.
