Boilermaker Invitational

The Boilermaker Invitational is an NCAA Division I men's golf tournament hosted by Purdue University at the Kampen-Cosler Golf Course, part of the Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex in West Lafayette, Indiana. This championship course, designed by Pete Dye, is a links-style, par-72 layout measuring around 7,400 yards, known for its challenging terrain including large bent-grass greens, sand bunkers, ponds, and native grasslands. The event is typically a 54-hole stroke play competition held over two days, featuring about 15 Division I teams. Teams usually come from regional conferences including schools like Purdue, Illinois State, Western Kentucky, Ball State, Purdue Fort Wayne, Valparaiso, Loyola Chicago, Toledo, South Dakota State, Nebraska, Ohio, Northern Illinois, Southern Illinois, and Butler. The tournament offers live scoring and serves as a key early-season competition providing strong competition and preparation for conference and NCAA qualifying events.
