Description
The Berkhamsted Trophy is a prestigious annual amateur golf tournament held at Berkhamsted Golf Club in Hertfordshire, England. The 64th edition of the event will tee off on April 3, 2025, and features 108 of the UK’s elite amateur golfers competing over 72 holes on a challenging 6,683-yard par-71 heathland course designed by notable architects including James Braid, Willie Park Jr., and Harry Colt. The tournament is known for being the traditional opening event of the elite amateur season in England and has a rich history with past winners including Ryder Cup legends like Sandy Lyle and Luke Donald.
