Bavarian Youth Open
About
The Bavarian Youth Open is a well-established amateur golf tournament organized by the Bayerischer Golfverband e.V. It is held annually, with the 2025 edition scheduled from August 5 to August 7 at Golfclub Wörthsee in Germany. The tournament features 54 holes of stroke play played over three rounds, testing young amateur golfers born in 2006 or later. Typically, the field includes both boys and girls competitors who play from separate tees, with around 60 players usually starting, and a cut after the second round where the top 21 girls and top 39 boys (and ties) qualify for the final round. The competition has a handicap relevance (HCPI), attracting young talents through open entries submitted by a deadline, with selections made by the Bayerischer Golfverband to confirm the field.
