Australian Girls' Amateur

The Australian Girls' Amateur is the national junior golf championship for girls in Australia, organized by Golf Australia. Held annually, the event is contested over 72 holes of stroke play, usually at premier venues such as The Grange Golf Club in Adelaide (2024 host). The field is typically comprised of the top 90–120 junior girls (under 18), selected by age, handicap index, and entry order. Entry is open to amateur golfers under 18 with low handicaps (generally 12.0 or below). The championship attracts Australia’s best junior talents and offers exemptions to other national and international junior events.
