Vermont Women’s Amateur Championship

The Vermont Women’s Amateur Championship is organized by the Vermont State Women’s Golf Association (VSWGA). The 2025 championship will be held at the historic Ekwanok Country Club in Manchester, Vermont, from August 4-6. The event features a stroke play format consisting of three rounds (54 holes) for the Championship Division, with a cut after 36 holes reducing the field to approximately 40 players. There is also a Tournament Division for players who prefer a shorter, two-round (36 holes) competition. The field is limited to 80 players with a USGA GHIN handicap index of 36 or less. Eligibility requires VSWGA membership, Vermont residency or club membership, and posting a minimum of 10 rounds at VSWGA member clubs in the last 12 months. Players can choose between two sets of tees based on their ability and enjoyment.
