UGC Ladies Open

The UGC Ladies Open is an annual women’s amateur golf tournament organized by the Uganda Golf Club, in partnership with the Uganda Golf Union. Played at Uganda Golf Club’s Kitante course, the event features three divisions: Ladies Silver, Ladies Bronze, and Subsidiary, welcoming golfers of all skill levels. The format is stroke play, usually contested over three rounds (54 holes) across several days. The field generally includes over 100 participants from across Uganda and neighboring countries, with qualification primarily achieved through club or national handicap status and open registration to eligible female amateur golfers. The UGC Ladies Open continues to grow in regional prestige, offering vital competition experience and national ranking points.
