Description

The Royal Junior is Japan’s pre-eminent junior golf competition, staged annually at The Royal Golf Club and supported by The R&A. The tournament features 12 junior boys and 12 junior girls chosen via Japan High School and Junior High School Golf Association recommendations. The format is 36-hole stroke play across two days, with winners earning direct invitations to The Amateur Championship and The Women’s Amateur Championship by The R&A in the UK. Entry is by nomination from sponsoring organizations and qualifying merit, with all players required to meet federation membership and age eligibility standards.
