Description

The Stenson Sunesson Junior Challenge is an international amateur junior golf tournament organized in Sweden by the Stenson Sunesson Foundation and held at The National, Malmö. This event is structured as 54 holes of individual stroke play, spread over three consecutive days, without a cut, and welcomes both boys and girls, with a maximum field size of 78 players (45 boys and 33 girls). Participants must be amateur golfers aged 13–18, hold membership in a golf club or association, and meet handicap limits (maximum 6.0 for girls, 3.0 for boys), with entry determined by World Amateur Golf Ranking, Swedish Golf Federation ranking, or handicap if needed. International places are capped and there are eight wild cards distributed by the organizers. The event is renowned for its competitive, developmental atmosphere and offers winners entry to the Faldo Series European Final.
