SEA Amateur Team Championship

The SEA Amateur Team Championship is one of Southeast Asia’s top amateur golf events, organized by the Singapore Golf Association. It features team competition among about 10 countries including Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, and others, with roughly 100 elite players each year. The four main trophies are the Putra Cup (men), Lion City Cup (boys U16), Santi Cup (women), and Kartini Cup (girls U16). Teams are selected by their national golf associations, usually based on national rankings, recent tournament performance, and selection trials. The championship is played over four rounds (72 holes) of stroke play, with aggregate scores determining the team winners.
