Description
The R&A Junior Open is a prestigious international junior golf tournament organized by The R&A, held biennially at leading venues in the UK, such as Kilmarnock (Barassie) in Scotland. The event features a 54-hole stroke play format over three days and draws a field of approximately 80 boys and girls, each under the age of 16, representing over 60 countries. National golf associations nominate one player each, with additional competitors invited based on junior performance and ranking. The championship showcases some of the top emerging talent worldwide.
