New Zealand Amateur Championship

The New Zealand Amateur Championship is New Zealand's top national amateur golf event, organized by Golf New Zealand and played since 1893. The 2025 championship took place October 29–November 2 at Invercargill Golf Club. The format begins with a 36-hole stroke play qualifying stage, after which the top 32 players proceed to five rounds of match play. The championship final is contested over 36 holes. Entry is open to male and female amateurs with qualifying handicaps and is determined by registration order and national ranking.
