Nepal Amateur Open
About
The Nepal Amateur Open is the country's flagship amateur golf tournament organized by the Nepal Golf Association. The 11th edition was held June 3-5, 2025, at the par-72 Gokarna Forest Resort Golf Course. It is a 54-hole stroke play event played over three days that attracts top amateur golfers from Nepal and South Asia, including Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, and Sri Lanka. The tournament includes both individual and team competitions for men, as well as a parallel women's championship. Qualification is primarily through national and regional amateur rankings, with local registrations also accepted before the event. The men's field typically cuts to the top 60% after 36 holes.
