Description
The Malaysian Amateur Open is one of Asia’s oldest and most prestigious amateur golf tournaments, organized by the Malaysian Golf Association (MGA). The 121st edition will be held from November 20–23, 2025, at Permaipura Golf & Country Club in Bedong, Kedah, Malaysia. The championship is played over 72 holes of stroke play, with a cut after 36 holes, and features an international team competition based on the first 36 holes. The event is open to top amateur men and women selected by handicap or national ranking, with an approximate field size of 120–144 players.
