The Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic is one of the longest-running and prestigious women's collegiate golf tournaments, hosted annually by the University of Georgia. It takes place at the University of Georgia Golf Course in Athens, Georgia, a par-72 course playing 6,217 yards. The tournament format includes 54 holes of stroke play, with 36 holes played on the first day via shotgun start and the final 18 holes on the second day with tee times starting early in the morning. The event typically features a competitive field of 12 to 16 teams from NCAA Division I, including many nationally ranked programs.
