Description

The Jennie K. Wilson Invitational is a prestigious women's amateur golf tournament held annually at the Mid-Pacific Country Club in Lanikai, Kailua, Hawaii. Sponsored by the Mid-Pacific Country Club Women’s division, this event features 54 holes of low gross medal play (stroke play) and is one of only two such tournaments in Hawaii for amateur women. The tournament honors Jennie K. Wilson, a notable figure in Hawaiian history, and has been a key event in promoting women's golf in the state since its inception in 1950. It usually draws a strong field of competitive amateur women golfers from Hawaii and beyond. The event is well known for its scenic course views of the Ko’olau mountain range and has seen past champions including golf legends such as Michelle Wie. The tournament is held over three days, comprising three rounds of stroke play.
