Description

Japan Women's Amateur Championship is organized by the Japan Golf Association and is played annually at leading courses throughout Japan. The format is 72-hole stroke play (four rounds), with 60 lowest scorers and ties after 36 holes advancing to the final two rounds. Entry is open to female amateurs meeting strict handicap standards and who qualify via regional qualifying events or receive JGA/national ranking exemption; timely registration is required before the entry deadline. The championship is regarded as Japan’s most prestigious women’s amateur event and awards national and global ranking points.
