Indonesia National Junior Championship
About
The Indonesia National Junior Championship is organized by the Persatuan Golf Indonesia (PGI), also known as the Indonesia Golf Association, and stands as one of the premier junior events in the country. Usually, the championship is played over three rounds (54 holes), using the stroke play format. The field generally features up to 120 junior golfers, with a cut after 36 holes to the top 78 players for the final round. The event is open to boys and girls who are 18 years of age or under as of the tournament's closing date, with players divided into multiple age/handicap divisions. To qualify, players must submit entries on the official entry form, which must be endorsed by their club, and meet the age and handicap criteria; foreign and local players are welcome, subject to entry fees and capacity limits. The competition crowns both an overall boy and girl champion, as well as winners in separate age groups, based on the lowest gross scores over the three rounds.
