Description

The Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) Women's Golf Championship is an annual collegiate golf championship held over three days at Oakwood Country Club in Coal Valley, Illinois. The tournament features a 54-hole stroke play format followed by a match play segment which determines the final team champion. Typically, around 12 to 14 NCAA Division II women's teams participate, with each team fielding five players and counting the top four scores each round toward the team total. Qualification is based on conference membership and regular-season performance within the GLVC. The championship crowns both team and individual champions and serves as the conference's premier women's golf event leading into national postseason play.
