Gara Nazionale Ducato

The Gara Nazionale Ducato is organized by the Italian Golf Federation and takes place at the Golf Nazionale in Sala Baganza-Parma, Italy. The tournament usually consists of 72 holes played over four rounds with stroke play format. There is a cut after 36 holes, allowing the top 40 players plus ties and qualifying amateurs to continue to the final two rounds. The typical field size is around 75 competitors, including professionals and amateurs. Qualification is generally through invitation and past performance in related events; the field includes some of Italy’s prominent professionals and amateurs. The golf course hosting the event, Golf Nazionale, is renowned for its high technical and natural quality, designed by George and Jim Fazio and David Mezzacane.
