Description

The Copa Amistad Colombia Panama is a junior team event organized annually through the collaboration of the national golf associations of Colombia and Panama, often including Puerto Rico as a third participating country. Hosted alternately in each country, such as Club Campestre Llanogrande or venues in Panama City, the tournament features mixed junior teams—usually with around nine elite boys and girls per nation—competing over three rounds in match play and stroke play formats. Selection is by national team/association invitation, based on junior rankings and performance in prior events, focusing on fostering international friendship and youth development in golf. The Copa Amistad is a key international experience on the South and Central American junior golf calendar.
