Description
The Carey Collegiate is an annual women's collegiate golf tournament hosted by William Carey University at the Canebrake Country Club in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. The tournament is played over three rounds (54 holes) of stroke play, with 36 holes on the first day and 18 holes on the final day. The par-72 course spans approximately 6,016 yards. Typically, nine teams compete, including several ranked NAIA programs, with each team fielding five players and counting the four lowest scores per round toward the team total. Invitations are based on team performance and rankings in the NAIA Coaches' Poll. The Carey Collegiate serves as an important early-season event for competition and team development.
